Masha Gordon, is a mum of 2 young kids, has successful career in finance, sits on company board and is the World record holder for the women’s Explorers’ Grand Slam- a gruelling
challenge that entails reaching both the North – and the South Pole as well as climbing seven summits, the highest mountain on each continent, including Mount Everest. This woman can!
She is truly extraordinary!
Masha talked to us about her adventures, how she became a climber from the humble beginnings of someone who failed PE in school. She shared some fascinating insights into her philosophy of getting her own kids active:
“I realised that I am in constant competition against digital games and entertainment for my kids’ attention. The only way I can compete is by giving them adventures that are far better than the virtual world.”
