Budapest is a stunningly beautiful city, with lots to do for adults and kids. In February we embarked on a different kind of sightseeing, taking us into the less touristy areas of the city too:
The plan was to take 10 different means of public transport, we managed 8:
- regional train
- millennial underground
- cogwheel tram
- children’s railway
Many of these forms of transport attest to Budapest long standing history of public transport, being in operation for over half a century.
This a a fantastic way to see the city, keep it interesting for kids and transport enthusiasts!
